How long have you been in business?
We have been a non-profit organization since 1964
What is your primary product or service?
We operate a museum dedictaed to the history of Will County and the I & M Canal. We have at least two different exhibits at any given time and group tours can be accomodated
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We differ from other museums in that we are devoted to local history.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location, but are planning a "Heritage Village" at another site to be up in 2011.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are located at 8th and State Street in downtown Lockport. You could take I-355 to 159th Street, then west on Rt. 7 to State Street in Lockport.
What type of payments do you accept?
At the present time we accept only cash or check.
Which areas do you service?
Southern Suburbs of greater Chicago
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We are owned by the Will County Historical Society
What are your hours of operation?
Tuesday - Sunday noon to four p.m.
